Michelle's First Stake Dance

Michelle is finally 14 and that means she gets to go to the stake dances. This is a picture of her at the dance with her friend Jeffrey Clark. We love the Clarks!!! They have 5 boys all the same ages as my kids and we have a lot of fun together!

Oh We Had A Good Time in Erie, PA

We had so much fun with Deanne this last week. Mom and I flew out there last Thursday and came home yesterday. Deanne has a beautiful home and an even more beautiful family. Oh we had fun!!! We went to Lake Erie, just a couple minutes from their house so see where they hang out in the summer. We spent a day in Kirtland enjoying the sites and catching up on our church history. We spent an afternoon at Niagara Falls. Oh, were they gorgeous and did we get wet. The Maid of the Mist gets up pretty close to the falls that it almost knocks you over. We spend one day "movie hopping". We saw Nights in Rodanthe, Eagle Eye, and Mamma Mia, not to mention a few videos we watched at home. It was a much needed vacation for me! I needed a break from my every day routine and now I can come home refreshed and ready to run from place to place and from game to game!!! Thanks again, Deanne, for such a fun time. You have a great family. I just wish we lived closer. Your girls are darling and I wish they were mine!!!

Haavard's Triathlon

We are so proud of Haavard for all of his hard work. I love watching the kids in the video cheering him on. He is such a great example to us. Way to go, Haaavard. We love you!

Espen Skiing

This video is a little old, but I could never figure out how to save these videos on my old computer and now that I have my new computer I am having a lot of fun putting together little videos of the kids. Espen had a blast skiing with Haavard and the other kids. We are hoping for a lot of snow this year and maybe a trip out to Utah to ski.

We love farmor!

We just had a great weekend with Hilde and Farmor. They stayed from Thursday to Sunday. We had a great time talking and spending time together. We enjoyed going to ball games and the three of them got to attend the Sacramento Temple. I was stuck at home with sick kids. I love this picture of my kids with their farmor. We are just hoping she can stay longer next time!

I Have No Idea What I Am Doing

Seriously, this is so completely new to me and I am not quite sure what I am doing. So until I figure this out enjoy the slide show! Haavard took the kids sledding and snowboarding/skiing during Christmas break. The 4 kids wanted to learn how to snowboard, so Haavard put them in lessons and then he taught Espen how to ski. They had a great time and are looking forward to the next time Haavard can take them up.
